Guy Colson graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent in 1990 (elective Surgery with Prof. Demoor). He immediately started working in Koksijde, where he and Suze Bogaerts took over a mixed Horse/Small Animal practice.

Silken graduated with distinction in 2023 as an animal care specialist from the University of Applied Sciences Ghent. After her studies she worked as an animal keeper at the University of Antwerp's animalarium, but soon realised her interest lay closer to veterinary medicine. 

Suze started out 35 years ago alongside Guy as a vet for horses and small animals. After 30 years of clinical work she moved into the role of practice coordinator, managing everything behind the scenes. 

Sofie studied at the faculty of veterinary medicine in Ghent and obtained her degree in 2010. She is now a vet and practice manager at De Vledermuis veterinary practice. She follows up cardiac patients within our practice with great expertise and dedication.

Amber is 21 and passionate about all things veterinary. She is currently studying at UGhent and spends her holidays in our practice, learning hands-on alongside vet Guy and helping with assisting tasks.
